Rüfüs du Sol to perform live at NDSM Warehouse

Thursday, 02 May 2019
The Australian indie band will take on the north side venue on Thursday October 17th.

After recent updates about Roland returning to ADE and celebrating 100 years of electronic music instruments we continue with more festival announcements. Two weeks ago DGTL wrapped up the seventh edition of their festival in Amsterdam. Besides the six regular stages, this year they dedicated a stage solely to live performances for the first time. Throughout the weekend the crowd experienced shows by the likes of George FitzGerald, Colin Benders, GusGus, Satori and Tourist. At this year’s ADE, DGTL will continue to expand this live concept with two special concert nights.

Rüfüs Du Sol
The first live show announced is the Australian indie band Rüfüs Du Sol, who connect the two worlds of live performance and electronic music and made their ADE debut at Melkweg during ADE LIVE 2016. The indie trio has been compelling audiences around the globe with their emotional melodic sound since their debut album ‘Atlas’ in 2013. The Australian band will give a performance at the NDSM Warehouse (Scheepsbouwloods) as one of the first DGTL live events. As a supporting act, emerging artist and fellow Australian, Willaris. K will perform, best known for his successful debut EP ‘Alchemy’.

About NDSM

The NDSM wharf is an area filled with industrial structures on the former land of the shipbuilding company. It has become a city in itself, including apartment buildings, a slew of eateries and bars, and offices for artists and tech developers. In recent years the various venues have played host to a wide range of artists and organisations during ADE, including Bicep, Bonobo, Lauren Hanson, Monika Kruse, Tama Sumo, DGTL, Into the Woods, LET and many more.
