In case you have an ADE Pro Pass, you will be able to access ADE Festival events.

Before you go to your first festival event, make sure you've picked up your Pro Pass wristband and badge at one of our Info & Ticket Desks.


What you need to access ADE Festival events with your ADE Pro Pass:

1. Your Pro Pass wristband;

2. and the QR code of your ticket - the QR code can be found on your E-ticket from Eventix; on the ADE Pro badge; or in your My ADE account in My tickets.

Note that ADE Festival events have limited capacity for ADE Pro Pass holders. Check the Current Events map in your My ADE account to see which events still have capacity left.

The Current Events map is only accessible for Pro Pass holders.

ADE encourages to Celebrate Safe. However, in case you end up needing medical help during your stay in Amsterdam, you can consult the practioners at Touristdoc in the City Center. The clinic is open daily throughout the festival from 8.00 to 20.00 for anyone who does not have a doctor in Amsterdam.• If you have a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) there will not be any costs associated with your visit.• It is not necessary to make an appointment, you may walk in and will be seen in order of urgency.

There are various types of ADE Guest passes. Check the type of your pass in your account or in your ticket invite or confirmation email. Go to the Info & Ticket Desks where you can pick up your pass based on its type (see above).

No, at Andaz Hotel and Pulitzer Hotel there is an Information Desk, but no Ticket Desk. You can pick up your accreditation at one of the Info & Ticket Desks locations. Find here where you need to go based on your ticket type.

In case you have an ADE Pro Pass, you will be able to access ADE Festival events.

Yes, the ADE Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events.

Be aware though that there are over 500 events during ADE that you can enter with the Pro Pass wristband and that ADE cannot guarantee access. There is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for wristband holders. This means for some of the more crowded events you have to arrive early. Once capacity is reached, we will go over in a one in-one-out policy.

The ADE Pro Pass is the perfect fit if you are planning on enjoying the combination of day and night events. If you want guaranteed access to a particular festival event, we advise you to get a single festival ticket.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.

Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!

If you plan to host an event during ADE at one of our partner venues, your event will be listed in our program. If you plan to host an event during ADE at a venue that is currently not a partner, this is unfortunately no longer possible as the applications for the ADE Festival locations are closed (by July 19th).

If you'd still like to make your event an official ADE Festival event, this is only possible by letting it take place at one of the already approved festival venues. Please check the festival program and contact the promotors/venues to explore the possibilities.

The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation is the umbrella over the entire festival program however the bookings are arranged by the official ADE venue itself. We therefore recommend you to contact venues and/or promotors directly to check if they have interest and availability.

Haven't received your ticket(s) or cannot find them? You can easily find them by following the steps on this page.

Yes, the ADE Passes are personal tickets and therefore have to be personalised. It is mandatory to show your ID/passport during pick-up. Your items cannot be picked up by someone else.

Also, don’t forget to complete your profile details before ADE, to make sure we have the right information to prepare your personal badge.


In case you've bought an ADE Pro Pass, after personalization you'll get access to our online delegates database, you will be able to attend the full ADE conference, and you will receive a badge and wristband that grants access to the full ADE festival program.

Cancellation of conference tickets is possible until one month prior to ADE, 16th of September. Please be aware that we charge €25,- service costs, as stated in our terms & conditions.

You can send your cancellation request to [email protected].


When you make your order you can personalise your conference tickets straight away or decide to do so later. Please make sure to personalise your tickets as soon as possible to get access to the online delegate database and access to ADE in October.

Be aware: unpersonalised tickets will not receive access to event.

Once your ADE Pro Pass is personalised, it is no longer possible to change the name on (one of) the ticket(s) yourself. You can send a request to [email protected] to check the possibilities.

Article 53 & 54 of the VAT Directive include a specific guideline for (international) events, stating VAT must be charged in the country where the actual event takes place.

- Business to customers (B2C) services relating to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar activities will be taxed at the place where those activities actually take place [Article 54 of the VAT Directive].

- Business to business (B2B) services in respect of admission to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar events will be taxed at the place where those events actually take place [Article 53 of the VAT Directive].

Please refer to your tax advisors to check if/how the tax can be (partially) reclaimed.
