Pioneer DJ brings live sets and the latest tech to ADE Sound Lab

Thursday, 08 August 2019
In the ever-changing worlds of music tech and club culture, Pioneer DJ has been holding the fort as an industry leader for decades. Drop by from ADE's Thursday through Saturday for a range of live sets by internationally renowned DJs, special workshops and more at De Brakke Grond.

After recent announcements about ADE's first conference round-up and Roger Linn joining ADE MusicTalks, we continue with Pioneer DJ, as they will be back for their annual event at ADE Sound Lab.

Believing the craft should be accessible to everyone, the company sees the event as a chance for anyone who's fallen in love with electronic music and DJing to check out (and test) their latest advancements in gear and tech. Something to look forward to in particular is a glimpse of the future, as they will demonstrate the latest VR technology and how it can be used by DJs.

You can get hands-on with their new DDJ-200 controller - which you can connect to your phone to mix music directly from streaming services including Beatport LINK, SoundCloud Go + and Spotify - as well as the new multi-track sequencer TORAIZ SQUID which will also be available for testing.

Pioneer DJ and ADE are live streaming the key performances and sessions on their social media channels. To get an idea of what that entails, check out KiNK's blistering set from last year. In the meantime, keep an eye out for performance announcements and program updates on our channels.
