ADE Sound Lab is back in 2019

Thursday, 14 February 2019
ADE's platform for sound, creativity and technology returns in 2019 with - among others - familiar concepts such as MusicTalks, Studio XL, Demolition, gear spaces and much more.

Following recent blogs covering additions to the 2019 speaker line-up and Companies To Watch winner Amuse, we are delighted to be able to announce that Sound Lab will offer even more cutting edge sonic experiences in 2019.

After the unprecedented, completely sold-out success of last year’s Sound Lab, ADE’s four-day global conference for sound, creativity and technology will be back in 2019 in a new form thanks to the addition of a second venue. The Brakke Grond will continue to be the beating heart of the event. Due to the popularity of Sound Lab's 2018 edition, visitors can expect plenty of big news on the program's development leading up to ADE 2019.

In 2018 Sound Lab featured intimate and revealing talks with major figures from the electronic scene including Nile Rodgers, Jean-Michel Jarre, Lena Willikens, Orbital, Bonobo, Xosar, Colin Benders, Jayda G, Imogen Heap and Joseph Capriati, alongside Studio XL sessions with KSHMR, Sander van Doorn, Camo & Krooked and Lucas & Steve. Previous star visitors at the public-facing MusicTalks series include Philip Glass, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Rush Hour's Antal, Richie Hawtin, Nina Kraviz, Daniel Miller, MIDI-legend Dave Smith, Skrillex, Jameszoo, Rebekah and Octave One.

Sound Lab 2018 also featured the legendary Demolition panel with moderator and DJ Dave Clarke alongside a panel of top DJ talent, demo pitches and audiovisual installations, plus a broad range of hardware and software brands that you can try out including Ableton, Novation, PioneerDJ, Roland and more. Stay tuned for more news on this year's program.
