Luciano’s journey is one of passion, creativity and cultural fusion, establishing him as a cornerstone of the electronic music scene. His unwavering dedication to the sound is unmatched, a sound which he has nurtured and championed since he started. From his early days in Santiago de Chile to his global presence over the last decades, he remains a true pioneer. His music evolves yet remains deeply rooted in his Latin heritage, captivating audiences worldwide and inspiring countless other artists along the way.

Having moved from his birthplace in Switzerland to Santiago, Luciano transformed the Latin rock rhythms of his younger years, hooked by the first techno productions of Detroit. Shaping anew vision into the micro-house we know and love today. Alongside artists the likes of DandyJack, Adrian Schop, Sidharta and many more, he played a pivotal role in establishing Santiago’snightlife. Hosting international artists such as Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos and Dandy Jack, regular club nights grew into large-scale events, attracting crowds in their thousands toSantiago’s Parque Almagro and the revered Love Parade.

The foundations were already set when he returned to Europe, bringing those Latino flavours along with him. By the time Ricardo invited him to Berlin, Luciano was poised to make an impact. He quickly became a firm fixture at the newly opened Club de Visionaere and Panoramabar, playing regularly alongside the likes of Guido Schneider, Sammy D, Ricardo and Zip. Soon he was releasing standout records on Perlon, Peacefrog, M_nus, Transmat, Playhouse, Klang Electronic, Metroplex, and Novamute.

Natural progression led to the birth of his own label, Cadenza, which quickly became one of the most influential platforms on the circuit. Under his direction, a close-knit family of artists crafted a unique blend of minimalist techno and vibrant Latin rhythms, resulting in a back catalog ofover a hundred quality releases. Cadenza Lab went on to spotlight young and underrated talents, while Basaec has been showcasing Luciano’s first productions, the music of his roots.

Luciano has long since been a firm fixture in Ibiza, where he has a deep-rooted connection. Residencies at Cocoon and Circoloco ignited his love affair with the island, establishing him as a staple during the minimal movement and a frequent player ever since. His own takeovers at Ushuaia Beach went down in history as some of the most liberating events to take place on theisland's shores. This only drove his vision, leading to his own Vagabundos concept with a Sunday residency at Pacha, Luciano & Friends at Ushuaia and Destino and Origins at Amnesia. His ideas are ever morphing, and partnerships continue to blossom, with Club Chinois and Pyramid at Amnesia.

Regularly celebrated at the prestigious DJ Awards, his contributions are undeniable. With nominations and accolades in double figures, including several-time winner of Best Tech House DJ and Best International DJ, to be crowned Icon of Ibiza was possibly the most humbling, recognising the profound impact he has had on the island’s music scene. Outside his summer sessions on the White Isle, he can regularly be found headlining the most prestigious events across the globe. From Sunwaves, Romania to Space Club, Miami, his extended sessions might be the most revered. All the while, his ties to Latin America remain strong, with an annual pilgrimage to his own Magik Garden Festival in Chile, which attracts over 20,000 revellers each year.

Reinvigorated by a relaunch two decades on, Luciano continues to be the driving force behind Cadenza’s ever-growing family. His commitment to nurturing rising talent shines brighter than ever. A new era was born, and the story is far from finished.

Beyond the dancefloor, Luciano’s passion for exploration has led him deep into the Arctic, where he recorded the sounds of nature in one of the most remote locations on Earth. His ArcticSounds project showcases the extent of his creative flair, translating harmonies of the world into his own artistic expression.

His charity ‘One Coin For Life’ underscores his commitment to social causes. Luciano channels funds from his musical endeavours to help communities worldwide preserve their cultures and traditions. From Colombia to Kenya, the project has contributed to building schools and providing much-needed support to vulnerable indigenous populations, spreading social awareness along the way.
