Cliff Fluet (GB)

Cliff Fluet is the Chair of Music Technology UK, the trade body representing companies working across AI, rights, data and immersive technologies in the UK music sector. In this role, he leads industry engagement on how AI is reshaping music creation, rights management, licensing and commercial models for artists, labels and platforms, and advises UK policymakers on music remuneration and AI licensing frameworks. Cliff is also a lawyer and adviser with over two decades of experience across the recorded music, broadcast and digital media sectors. A Partner at Lewis Silkin and member of the firm's Partnership Board, he leads on innovation and future strategy at the firm. Before joining Lewis Silkin, he spent a decade in senior in-house roles, including as a lawyer at Warner Music and General Counsel of Capital Radio plc, giving him a practitioner's understanding of how the music and broadcast industries have navigated successive waves of technological disruption, from digital distribution to streaming and now AI.He founded Eleven Advisory, advising music, media and technology businesses on strategy, commercialisation and innovation, and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of ATC Music Group plc. Cliff brings a measured, informed perspective on where AI genuinely creates opportunity for the music industry, and where it raises questions that the sector still needs to resolve.
