During ADE, artist Sammie Tjon Sien Foek, also known as DJ Slimfit, will perform three shows featuring a hybrid live set at the historic clandestine church of Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder.For this special curation, Slimfit explores the ritualesque quality of sound throughout differing historical and cultural contexts. By integrating and remixing classical music elements with live electronic composition influenced by ancestral rhythms, they reinterpret supposedly opposing liturgical ideologies.
Slimfit's practice centers on critical postcolonial theory and its friction with contemporary meaning-making within a metamodernist zeitgeist.
Slimfit is a queer multidisciplinary artist and DJ of Chinese, Surinamese, and Dutch heritage. Known for their high-energy, multi-genre sets, they blend an expansive range of sounds into a seamless flow of cultural expression. From emotional techno and bubbling to post-club and hardgroove, Slimfit transcends conventional rave aesthetics by infusing their sets with Caribbean and Latin American influences. Celebrated for their harder sound, they’ve delivered impactful closing sets at key electronic music events, including Lowlands Festival, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Cicciolina during Paris Fashion Week.
This visual and audio art installation is part of the Pantheon Amsterdam exhibition, an art production with eight talented and multi-disciplinary artists who reflect on religion. Spirituality and celebrations. Pantheon Amsterdam is on display in the museum from ADE 2026 until ADE 2027.

Hidden in the heart of Amsterdam's city centre lies a small wonder: Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder. Visitors go on a voyage of discovery in a rare well-preserved canal house from the 17th century. Narrow corridors and stairs lead to historically furnished living rooms, kitchens and box beds, ending in what is literally the highlight of the museum: a complete church in the attic.
The museum tells the story of tolerance in the city. Our Lord in the Attic was built in an atmosphere of religious tolerance which had grown on the foundations laid by Willem van Oranje in the 16th century. Today, freedom of religion and freedom of conscience are still tangible ideas in the museum, and are major sources of inspiration for our activities.

Festival FAQ
ADE Festival tickets are sold individually by the festival event organizers, but you’ll also be able to purchase them through the ticket links on the event pages on our website here.
Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resent to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.
Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!
Yes, the ADE Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events.
Be aware though that there are over 1,200 events during ADE that you can enter with the Pro Pass wristband and that ADE cannot guarantee access. There is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for Pro Pass holders. This means for some of the more crowded events you have to arrive early. Once capacity is reached, we will go over in a full-for-now policy. The festival event organizer will decide when and if more people are allowed to go in.
The ADE Pro Pass is the perfect fit if you are planning on enjoying the combination of day and night events. If you want guaranteed access to a particular festival event, we advise you to get a single festival ticket instead.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
