Joëlla Jackson (NL)

Joëlla Jackson is an Amsterdam-based DJ whose career grew from a big passion for music. Started out in local venues in het hometown, she quickly made her mark on the Dutch scene and now has a strong international presence. Her sound is defined by groovy rhythms, deep sexy baselines, and a strong love for percussion and world-influenced vocals.

Growing up in a musical household, Joëlla developed a diverse taste from an earlyage. Her passion for house music started around age 13, inspired by “Dirty House”mixtapes from DJ Chuckie. Her love for discovering new music eventually turnedinto a desire to surprise and inspire others with fresh tracks. At 20 with minimalguidance from a friend once, she quickly showcased a natural talent, leading her topursue DJing seriously. She started playing at private gatherings andsoon transitioned to club gigs.

During the pandemic, she moved to Egypt and Dubai, playing weekly and refiningher signature sound. Upon returning to the Netherlands, she immediately landedmajor bookings, including: Strafwerk Festival, Elrow, and Shelter—where she helda residency in 2022.

Her career took off further after joining the agency Meanwhile. In 2023, shereleased her first track and is now next to het gigs, focused on producing music. In2025 she had some great releases with even a Nr. 1 Beatport collab with NickCurly of Cécille records.

Joëlla shares the stage with some of her biggest inspirations, such as Loco Dice,The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, and Marco Carola. She has performed at topfestivals like Music On, Creamfields, Brunch and Awakenings, and has taken hercareer worldwide, with shows all across Europe, North Africa, the Caribbean andSouth America.
