Gailor Sebastiao Kiaku (BE)

Gailor Kiaku is a Brussels-based radio host, moderator and A&R, and co-founder of Jeunes Boss, a label and artist-development company. For almost ten years he has also helped build Lowkey, a media platform that puts emerging Belgian artists and new voices in the spotlight.

He never set out to be a host. An atypical profile, Gailor was discovered through Lowkey and then by BRUZZ, and rolled into radio purely out of his passion for talking about music. That led to five years as host of BRUZZ ICE, the radio show and youth music platform of Brussels media house BRUZZ, where he still works behind the scenes on the music programming. Today he co-hosts EERLIJK!?, a weekly radio show on Studio Brussel (the music station of Flemish public broadcaster VRT) and an online platform with video capsules on YouTube, spotlighting genres like hip-hop, afrobeats and R&B that traditional media often overlook.

On stage, he has hosted at Bozar, Brussels' major arts centre. He has also taught radio studio practice at RITCS.
