Denise Lopes (BR)

With a background in music, event production, and a degree from the Academy of Pop Culture, drummer Denise launched her DJ project in 2023. Blending Brazilian rhythms, baile funk, and Tech House, her sound combines heavy basslines with the energy of Amsterdam's underground club scene.

Originally part of the We Are Baile Funk collective, Denise has developed a distinctive sonic identity shaped by MPC-inspired textures and global dance floor influences. Her debut releases, Calor da Pista and Respira, Não Pira, merge baile funk grooves with Tech House, featuring original vocals written and recorded by Denise, reflecting her commitment to pushing Brazilian club music in new directions.

As a Brazilian artist based in Amsterdam, Denise has performed at renowned venues including Panama and Paradiso while collaborating with underground artists across the Dutch and Brazilian electronic music scenes. Inspired by MU540, Mochakk, Diplo, EveHive, and BADSISTA, she delivers high-energy sets that fuse Brazilian percussion, baile funk, and contemporary electronic music into a distinctive club experience.
