Heliotrope by Heleen Blanken & Daniel de Bruin

After being cancelled during ADE 2025 due to adverse weather, Heliotrope breturns to the ADE Lab Village in Westerpark for ADE 2026. Inspired by plants turning towards the sun, the kinetic mirrored installation responds to invisible flows of energy, reflecting and refracting light as it moves through day and night, and is free to visit throughout ADE.

Het Ei by Touki Delphine

Part of ADE Arts & Culture and co-curated with Amsterdam Light Festival, Het Ei is a public light installation by Amsterdam collective Touki Delphine, built from recycled materials and exploring the relationship between humans, machines and nature. Set in Westerpark, the free installation can be visited throughout ADE week, before appearing again at the Amsterdam Light Festival this winter.

Charged by Jaco Schilp

Charged by Jaco Schilp turns visitors into moving clouds of light, responding to their presence and interactions as they enter the installation. Using AI vision technology to track movement without recording images, the free public work in Westerpark explores how technology can shift from surveillance towards connection and play.

Melting Image

Melting Image by Romina Koopman challenges the passive scroll of the digital image, asking viewers to slow down and spend time with what they see. Silkscreened onto layers of transparent material and heat-formed into a sculptural shape, the work shifts with changing light in the gallery window throughout ADE week.

Slam Bam! Must Click! A Photography Exhibition by Dave Clarke

Dave Clarke presents twelve monochromatic portraits of artists he has photographed over the years, exhibited at SPRMRKT as part of ADE week. Join Clarke in person on ADE Thursday for The Art of Noise – Part One, a panel exploring the intersection of fashion, photography and music with Isaac Sellam and An Vandevorst.

Sound & Image as Language

Podium Mozaïek, Echobox Radio, Foam and ADE Arts & Culture bring sound, image and identity together, with EIN L AQL's workshop on Arabic maqam, a lecture and discussion on representation and a closing jam. The program is free to attend, with participants invited to bring their own instruments for the workshop and join the evening jam.

Rethinking Dance in Nightlife

This in-depth session explores the growing disconnect between dancers and clubs, asking what happened to dancing all night, connecting through music and sharing the dancefloor. Supported by VibeLab's The Better Move, the event brings together dancers and club professionals for discussion, a dance activation by Diego Oliveira and tunes from Polli Panda, with donations welcome.

Zone2Source presents Circuits and Ceremonies, an exhibition exploring electricity as a living, relational process through works by Sunjoo Lee, Claire Williams and Ryan Jordan.
