The Legendary MARSHALL JEFFERSON joins forces with Fun With Dick & Jayne to kick off ADE’s 30th Anniversary in true House Music fashion and he’s personally inviting YOU to be part of a night that promises to be nothing short of historic!
This is more than a party. This is a musical journey through the birth, evolution, and future of House Music.
Travel back to the Chicago clubs, dance floors, and underground sounds that gave birth to a global movement. Experience the music through the artists who helped build the foundation of House Music and continue to shape its future today. Marshall Jefferson will be joined by some of his legendary House Music pioneering friends and architects.
From the early Chicago House sound to the soulful, deep, jackin’, and uplifting rhythms that have traveled around the world, The Chicago Connection brings the story to life through the people who were there and the music that started it all.
As Amsterdam Dance Event celebrates 30 years of bringing the global electronic music community together, there is no better way to begin the anniversary than by honoring the city where House Music was born and the pioneers who helped carry its sound across the globe.

Blend XL, a spacious bar (275m2) with tables and especially during the ADE we create a big dance floor, located on the Reguliersdwarsstraat 44, one street back from the famous Flower Market. It’s been a while since Amsterdam had such a large new open minded place with so much allure, street arts graffities on its walls. Blend XL will be open to all genders, in harmony and respect for all sexualities. A place to be seen and where you can be who you want to be. Glittery yet sober, groovy yet glamorous, a touch gay oriented but though enough to appeal to almost everybody who can appreciate some good old sophistication, fashion and party time. In a cozy atmosphere you will enjoy your cocktails and drinks. You will dance and groove in a stunning venue until very late night with a funky mix of music that will make your 5 ADE days a unique experience.

Festival FAQ
ADE Festival tickets are sold individually by the festival event organizers, but you’ll also be able to purchase them through the ticket links on the event pages on our website here.
Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resent to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.
Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!
Yes, the ADE Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events.
Be aware though that there are over 1,200 events during ADE that you can enter with the Pro Pass wristband and that ADE cannot guarantee access. There is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for Pro Pass holders. This means for some of the more crowded events you have to arrive early. Once capacity is reached, we will go over in a full-for-now policy. The festival event organizer will decide when and if more people are allowed to go in.
The ADE Pro Pass is the perfect fit if you are planning on enjoying the combination of day and night events. If you want guaranteed access to a particular festival event, we advise you to get a single festival ticket instead.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
