Halve Soul (NL)

In 2011, Roberto Balzarelli and Dieuwer Duijf started Halve Soul with a monthly night in a small local Amsterdam pub. Their aim was to bring a different sound, which evolved to a highly danceable four quarter funk with a small obsession for the bass line. They got picked up by local promoters Zeezout which led to gigs in Paradiso, Air, Chicago Social Club and festivals like Buiten Westen and Valtifest. Their sets evolve from a smooth groove towards an exciting mix of acoustic and electronic discofunk; get down and boogie.
