Daria Kolosova (UA)

Born in Lutugino in eastern Ukraine, Daria Kolosova discovered electronic music at nine through The Prodigy’s “Diesel Power.” Encouraged by her father’s love of music, she studied piano before turning to DJing. She played her first set in 2010 and soon began performing and organising parties across the Luhansk region.

Drawn to Kyiv’s electronic music scene, Daria moved to the capital and became a resident at Keller under the name Dar:k. She co-founded the Materia UA party series and went on to play regularly at clubs including K41, Closer and Otel. As her international career grew, she began performing under her own name, keeping Dar:k for more experimental work.

Daria has since become a fixture at clubs including Berghain, Bassiani, Fabric or FOLD, and at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Junction 2, Awakenings, Time Warp and many others.

Her sets are driven by curiosity rather than expectation. Rooted in dynamic, groovy techno, they move through breakbeat, electro, hardcore and jungle, shifting direction without losing the dancefloor. For Daria, DJing is a way to share a story and create a connection with the crowd, while leaving room for something unexpected.
