Casnik (AR)

Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ and producer from City Bell, La Plata. His passion for music began in childhood, exploring different musical styles and artistic expression through dance.

He started his DJ career in 2018, focused on creating an emotional connection with audiences through carefully selected melodies. Throughout 2019, he shared the stage with renowned Argentine artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matías Sundblad and LeFrak, while performing at some of the country’s most recognized venues in cities including La Plata, Mar del Plata, Tandil, Pinamar and Monte Hermoso.

In 2020, he shifted his musical direction toward Progressive House and Melodic House, defining the sound that characterizes his performances today.

In 2021, he relocated to Tulum, Mexico, where he expanded his international career by performing in clubs across Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Holbox. During this period, he shared lineups with internationally acclaimed artists including Pan-Pot, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettmann, Armen Miran, Bora Uzer and Dj Vibe, among others.

By 2023, Casnik was intensely focused on music production, releasing tracks and EPs on labels such as Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, Sunexplosion, 3rd Avenue, BC2, The Purr, and Dreamers, among others. His music received support from prominent artists in the scene, including Hernan Cattaneo, Mariano Mellino, Simon Vuarambom, Cid Inc, Emi Galvan, and Fernando Ferreyra
