ARNII ATA (GE)
DJ, CULTURAL COMMENTATOR & CLUB CULTURE ADVOCATE
ARNII is a DJ, cultural commentator, club culture advocate, and independent content creator based in Tbilisi. He spent close to a decade building Prague's underground scene through zero-budget events, warehouse raves, club nights and mini-festival curations, before becoming Music Director and Curator of FUCHS2 club during its 2021-2024 reboot, programming near 100 events a year and helping build out booking, residency programs, door policy, and welfare infrastructure for crews and attendees..
ARNII's mini-essays take on the industry problems that actually shape career decisions, from unfair booking practices to anthropology, breaking them down for artists trying to build something that lasts. His Substack, Club Culture FYI, carries the longer arguments, including "Who Curates the Underground?". The same voice has taken him to panels for Outlook Festival, where he hosted "Who Decides What You Hear," and Horst Festival, where he joined "The Cost of Staying Independent" alongside journalist Chal Ravens, plus further talks across Poland and Germany. Combined, his essay-format productions have reached over 11.5 million views.
Since 2025, ARNII has consulted for music technology companies and start-ups entering club culture, helping them understand both underground dynamics and commercial realities. He has also worked to raise Georgian electronic music's profile across Central and Eastern Europe, connecting Tbilisi's emerging scene with international opportunities.
As a DJ, ARNII delivers sets that blend UK-infused techno, house, bass, and experimental sounds, genres he helped establish through years of curating underground events. His work extends beyond the decks, into writing and advocacy aimed at an industry that too often exploits the people who keep it running.
