Venezuela, the country located in the north of South America and part of the Caribbean, has been known for its rich cultural diversity, deep connection with music, and beautiful nature throughout. Unfortunately, the narrative when introducing the country to someone who isn't familiar with it has changed quite a bit over the last couple of decades. The political challenges that the country faces have risen tremendously, leading to many Venezuelans having to leave their homeland behind.

Join us for a compelling session featuring Cardopusher and Hyperaktivist, both native Venezuelan artists now based in Berlin, who will discuss the impact of their Venezuelan heritage on their music. With music as a powerful medium to bring people together and provide food for thought, both artists are working to create more exposure for their country and its people in their own way.

Cardopusher and Hyperaktivist will share how their roots in Venezuela shape their artistic choices. Guided by musical pieces that they'll be bringing along to the talk, they'll get into what represents these influences, and listen to excerpts while delving into what these songs mean to them. This conversation with both artists promises unique insights into their creative journeys, and the dynamic cultural context of Venezuela. Come explore the deep connections between their Venezuelan heritage and their music; it might inspire you to start crossing borders with your own music as well.

Join us at the Felix Meritis for the full ADE Pro programme. The conference is set to be extended by an additional day, taking place from ADE Wednesday to Saturday. Just down the road the prestigious Andaz Amsterdam by Hyatt Hotels is transformed to a buzzing network & business hub from Wednesday to Friday.

ADE LAB

ADE Lab returns with a four-day programme from ADE Wednesday to Saturday at the Brakke grond and many more venues around the Amsterdam Nes area.

We do not sell ADE Conference only or Day Passes. The only way to get access to the ADE Pro Conference is the ADE Pro Pass.

Our conferences are accessible for all ages in general. Do note that when alcoholic beverages are served, access can be denied.
