Finding your Climate Muse presented by DJs for Climate Action

ADE Green - Eli Goldstein, Eat My Butterfly, Fay Milton, Fallon MacWilliams aka Darwin and Anetha

What is the role of music culture in climate action? In what way can artists use their creativity and voice to drive change?

The issue of climate change can be so daunting that it seems overwhelming. Maybe the only way to truly understand it is with our hearts and not our minds? Artists can play a unique role by connecting with our feelings, restoring our bond with nature and inspiring climate action. But, for artists, there are pressures that make taking action feel complicated – maybe even uncomfortable.

Today there is a growing group of DJs, producers, and musicians that are using their work and platforms to inspire and make an impact on the impending climate crisis. These artists all had the courage to take steps towards positive change and ended up deeply involved in climate action. By integrating these topics into their creative practices, or starting organizations that make a broader impact, these artists are examples of how we can all get inspired to make change.

In this panel, we will explore ways for artists to engage and speak out, as well as the challenges that come with this. Pioneers will inspire you with their stories and will give you hands-on advice on how to start your own journey.
