Diplo presents Higher Ground

Diplo presents Higher Ground

A superstar DJ, sought-after producer, taste-making label owner, and wizard behind Major Lazer, Diplo launched his career on the fringes of dance music. With his mash-up mixtapes, he found and created a sound where his musical tastes ('80s pop, electronica, Dirty South hip-hop, and his major influence and Miami bass music) intersect. His attention-grabbing projects Hollertronix and Piracy Funds Terrorism, Vol. 1 mixtape his imprint Mad Decent presented the edge of pop, hip-hop, and dance music while his conceptual project Major Lazer mixed dancehall with rave culture and toured the globe as a live-party sound system. By the late 2010s, high-profile projects with Skrillex (Jack Ü) and Mark Ronson (Silk City) both yielded Grammy wins for collaborations with Justin Bieber and Dua Lipa, respectively. He also teamed with Sia and Labrinth to form the supergroup LSD. Heading into the 2020s, the versatile artist segued into territories ranging from country to ambient, focusing on house music through his imprint Higher Ground. On the occasion of ADE, Diplo is coming to Paradiso to present the latter.

Festival FAQ

Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When capacity has been reached, a one in one out rule applies.

A very limited number of events, including the Nils Frahm seated concert at Concertgebouw and the Eric Prydz HOLO show have had an RSVP list for Pro Pass holders. Only the RSVP grants entry to the shows.

For (individual) festival tickets make sure to check out our program and simply add tickets to your basket as you explore all events.

Tip: Filter the program by "Show only events with available tickets" to get a quick view.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+), these are Dutch governmental rules which say that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club. Please double-check the promotors website to be sure you can enter the event.

We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age.
