Peaking Lights: Playtime (1967) - Live Score

Peaking Lights is an American husband-and-wife duo living in Amsterdam and making some sort of psychedelic indie disco dub. Their records are never the same and they are always in for someting new and special. After great shows at Down The Rabbit Hole and Dekmantel Festival, they come to ADE in our Cinema to do a unique live score for the 60s classic 'Playtime', in which the French director Jacques Tati shows the downside of modern technology with great humour. His main character Monsieur Hulot wanders through the Paris of the 60s, with big shiny buildings, crowds and the newest gadgets make life complicated and anonymous.

Free entrance for ADE Card holders. Ticket desk open from one hour before showtime. Obtain your film ticket at the ticket desk by showing your ADE Card. Limited capacity (first come, first serve).
