Amsterdam Dance Event fourth chapter is unfolding as we speak, and if you’re looking for adventure in Amsterdam’s eastern district, you’ve come to the right place. Together with Desperados we compiled four tips that will kick your ADE up another notch.

Amsterdam’s picturesque Eastside makes a big contribution to ADE's cultural program and houses some of the city’s larger night venues. Across five days East houses vinyl markets, AlgoRaves, boutique clubbing, ADE University, and exhibitions. We’re here to highlight just a few of todays offering to help you find your way around.

Good Music Vinyl Market | Volkshotel | 12:00 - 18:00

If you’re looking to ease into your day a little more before heading back to the dance floor, head on over to the Volkshotel and visit the (free) Good Music Vinyl Markets for some crate digging. You’ll find a host of different record dealers selling everything from disco to soul, house, reggae, techno, Italo, hip-hop and more.

Lotgenoten | De Tropen | 22:00 - 07:00

For the second night in a row, the Tropenmuseum (Museum of the Tropics) is the backdrop for a house extravaganza by Lotgenoten. This time they’re teaming up with the Belgian We Play House label together with its head honcho’s Red D and San Soda, who have invited the legendary Joey Negro, and Perdu.

Click | Oosterbar | 22:00 - 08:00

Just a short walk away from De Tropen, Alex Niggemann, Fort Romeau, Moody Mehran, Ruede Hagelstein, Stefano Richetta and Speaking Minds are set to take over Oosterbar underneath the Generator Hostel to explore the melodic electronics and the deeper side of the house spectrum.

Modular Synth Night | Studio/K | 21:00 - 03:00

This year’s ADE theme is the celebration of 100 years of electronic music instruments. If you’re on the lookout for gear-heavy performances, head on over to Studio/K for a program brim-filled with modular synthesizer experimentation. The night is hosted by Bart Wolff, who also organizes modular synth nights in Paradiso as Voltage Control Amsterdam, who will be joined by artists like Betasquare, Boris Scorpio, Cultuurschok and RoWe.
