Victória Mazzone de Castro (BR)

Speaker (City Collective Amsterdam)

Victória is a Brazilian-born (1999) and Amsterdam-based interdisciplinary researcher, curator, and creative working at the intersection of contemporary & multidisciplinary arts, cultural data, speculative psychoacoustics, and community-driven cultural advocacy.

Alongside her artistic and research practice, she currently works as Community Manager at City Collective Amsterdam, supporting connections between creative workers, cultural initiatives, and the broader urban fabric of the city.

With a background in performing arts in Brazil, her practice is rooted in the interplay between artistic expression and socio-political discourse.

Her research explores sonic activist practices, speculative sound, and the material intersections of music and politics, challenging normative and epistemic violence(s).

Through critical sound studies, performance, experimental media, and community-oriented cultural work, she investigates the infrastructures that shape perception, memory, collective life, and resistance.

Her curatorial approach fosters dialogues that rethink artistic agency within broader political, cultural, and social frameworks.
