Victor’s involvement the world of underground electronic music began as a reaction against the evils of the recent London scene- shady promoters, DJ’s being ripped off, 30 minute DJ sets, ever increasing hype, terrible DJ’s and producers hijacking the sounds of the underground with commercial nonsense. M!SF!T’s mission was to right these wrongs. In a difficult time for independent promoters M!SF!T found ever inventive ways to keep the party going- pub basements, superclub smoking areas, abandoned heavy metal clubs have all played host to M!SF!T’s uncompromisingly underground approach - always walking away from each party with a twinkle in their eye and a resolve to do it all again soon. A label was the next logical step - 2017 saw the M!SF!T crew join forces with Belfast based producer and long-term friend Stephen Garrett aka Fractious. A handful of well received EP’s have followed featuring some dark and groovy techno and gaining support from Stacey Pullen, Danny Tenaglia and Slam among others. With some quality releases already scheduled for the second half of 2018, M!SF!T has steadily gained momentum - hosting at London’s explosive new Next Step Forward Festival and now an official party at the Amsterdam Dance Event alongside Dynamo Recordings... it’s a good year to be a M!SF!T.
