Niels Walboomers (GB)

Niels Walboomers is President, WM Central Europe, Spinnin’ Records and WCM Benelux, overseeing publishing operations in the Benelux and recorded music across a region which includes Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Since joining Warner Music Group in 2023, Niels has led the region to brand new highs, fueled by new releases from regional superstars including Antoon, Roxy Dekker, Zoë Livay and Samuel Welten, all also signed to WCM Benelux. His mandate expanded further in 2025, firstly as the new head of global dance powerhouse Spinnin’ Records - where he led its expansion into new markets with the launch of Spinnin’ Records Germany - and then President of the newly unified WM Central Europe, where he has maintained a course of chart success with the likes of Die Toten Hosen, Ayliva, Summer Cem and Provinz.

Earlier in his career, he co-founded Walboomers Music and spent twelve years at Sony Music Publishing as Managing Director, Benelux, building extensive experience across both creative and commercial sides of the music industry. With his experience on both the creative and business sides of the industry, he brings a broad perspective on how artists, rights, and companies evolve in a fast-changing music landscape.
