Vavox (BE)

Artist
Members of the group are anonymous and hidden behind masks. This because of their desire for creative freedom. Vavox is styled by the Flemish fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck. The group has created a unique musical style, combining elements from avant-garde to pop melodies to new experimental compositions. Their musical compositions incorporate many influences; film and TV music from 1960 to 1980 associated with surrealistic composers, baroque music, sound design and poetry. The music of Vavox is characterized by the use of "vintage" musical instruments from the 1960's to 1980's; keyboards, synthesizers and drum machines made by Moog, ARP, Oberheim, Roland, Mellotron, Hammond, Rhodes, Chroma, Hohner.
