Sophie Bruin ()

Sophie Bruin is a techno DJ from the north of the Netherlands, celebrated for her unique and eclectic music selections. Her sets showcase a versatile range, from quirky and minimalistic sounds to hypnotic beats, all underpinned by captivating grooves. She often incorporates powerful kicks and raw basslines, which add a profound emotional resonance to her performances, a hallmark of her style.

Starting her journey as a creative child with a love for engaging records, Sophie began DJing in her home basement at just sixteen. Inspired by her parents' thrilling tales of nineties raves, she was determined to experience that energy herself. Two years later, she took the stage for her first gig in a football canteen. As she honed her craft, she earned opportunities to perform at notable festivals and clubs, including By the Creek, Mystic Garden, Geheime Liefde, Sneeuwbal Festival, Het Sieraad, Basis, Nachtcollege, Deviate, Club Atelier, and she became a resident DJ at the popular Techno Tuesday in Melkweg Amsterdam.

At present, Sophie is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of techno, inviting audiences to explore various subgenres in an open manner and fostering a deeper emotional connection with the music.
