Saul van Stapele (NL)

Saul van Stapele is creative director of ADE Beats. He is an author and journalist and has published a variety of books on hip-hop and street culture. He was part of the team that started the international Beats-platform for hip-hop, bass and beats back in 2010. Early 2013 Saul van Stapele was awarded the 19th edition of the Pop Media Prijs, the annual award for excellent pop music journalism in The Netherlands, for his body of work as writer, editor and conference organizer. Due to his reputation as the leading Dutch urban music journalist and his connections with the international urban scene and music industry, Van Stapele has interviewed an impressive amount of prominent rappers, DJ’s and producers worldwide, for magazines, newspapers, podcasts and live events.
