As the Head of Operations at Mysteryland festival, Maarten has always harbored a passion and intrinsic motivation to make events more sustainable. With two decades of experience in the music and events industry, he has had the privilege of working within the ID&T group for over 10 years, contributing to various festivals. Mysteryland festival has made its debut in 1993, marking it as the world's longest-running electronic music festival. Each year, Mysteryland festival draws more than 130,000 attendees from over 100 nationalities, offering them the opportunity to experience performances by 300+ artists across 22 captivating stages. Moreover, Mysteryland is proud to be a part of the Green Deal Circular Festivals, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
