Quentin 'TinTin' Chambers (GB)

Quentin (TinTin) Chambers is a cultural innovator and music entrepreneur whose career has spanned nearly four decades of change in electronic music and the ways in which it is discovered, shared and experienced. He began promoting parties at the birth of the UK acid house movement, co-founding the era-defining Energy raves in 1989, before spending the following decade immersed in electronic music as a DJ, producer, promoter, label head and A&R.

In the late 1990s, Quentin became Managing Director of Groovetech, the first online platform to combine electronic music radio, curation and record retail. He subsequently spent more than 15 years working across the emerging digital music industry, with senior roles spanning independent distribution and artist and label services (INgrooves and Consolidated Independent), content licensing and digital music platforms.

Today he leads OpenLab, the Ibiza-born music and arts platform founded by Robert Miles. Broadcasting on FM and digitally, alongside an expanding programme of live events and cultural partnerships, OpenLab places human curation and music discovery at the centre of its approach. Across nearly four decades, discovery has been a consistent thread through Quentin’s work, creating spaces, experiences and platforms that introduce people to new music, ideas and culture.
