Pheebz (NL)
Pheebz (Fatima Zohra) is an Amsterdam-born B-girl of Moroccan heritage, raised in the 90s hip-hop culture. From Yo! MTV Raps to hip-hop fashion, the culture was part of her life long before she started breaking in 2000s.
After taking a ten-year break from breaking due to motherhood, she returned to the dance in 2019 and has been fully committed ever since. With over 20 years of international experience and relationships within the hip-hop community, she continues to grow through her passion, authenticity, and genuine connections.
Beyond being a B-girl & Mom of 4, Pheebz is an artist, educator, organiser, and cultural connector. She teaches breaking, performs, judges battles, supports young people in developing their own jams and events, and contributes to international platforms, including IBE in Heerlen.
In 2015, she co-founded Stichting Bereik Samen, through which she has been developing and organising a variety of events, activities, educational projects, and social initiatives. Using art and culture as tools for connection, she works to build bridges between people, communities, and society. In 2025, she founded Watch Out Now HipHop Film Festival, launching its first edition in Zaandam.
Her inspiration comes from hip-hop life, traditional art forms, the cultures and traditions of the African diaspora and beyond. Through her work, she aims to bridge art, culture, and society while keeping the essence of hip-hop alive for future generations.
