Nathan Jordan (GB)

Nathan Jordan, Head of Inclusion for Defected Records, is on a mission to shake up the industry, improve respect, develop balanced lineups and create safer spaces at events. With over a decade working for global household names such as Microsoft, Amazon, Dyson, Sky and Boots, he understands the complexity of delivering meaningful international inclusion programmes. Nathan also spent several years living and working in the Middle East, improving worker welfare and development. In 2020, Nathan was presented with a British LGBT+ Award for his work to improve inclusion and diversity in the UK. Further career highlights for Nathan include working with the Warehouse Project in Manchester on an Inclusion and Diversity programme which saw the most underrepresented groups in the city get a taste of the live music industry. This project catalysed Nathan’s trajectory into music, allowing him to create deeper connections within the industry.
