Mayan Fawaz (EG)

Mayan Fawaz is an Egyptian-Dutch artist manager, music industry professional and founder of DaughterofRA, a bespoke artist management company focused on discovering and elevating emerging talent, with a strong focus on female artists.

With a career in music industry spanning almost two decades, Mayan’s experience covers multiple sides of the industry. Starting as a DJ and producer in Cairo, she went on to perform across the region and internationally, while building experience across artist management, talent buying, booking, music programming, artist relations, hospitality, stage management and festival operations.

Her experience in the MENA region includes building and running booking operations in Qatar, bringing international headline DJs into the market and developing a strong network of artists, agents, promoters, venues and industry professionals across the region. In 2018, she became Music Director at Mystique Management, overseeing music curation and bookings for several of Doha’s pioneering electronic music venues like Monkey Tale, helping shape the city’s house music scene.

Now based in Amsterdam, Mayan brings a well-established network across MENA and Europe, alongside a first-hand understanding of the artist experience. Through DaughterofRA, she combines her international experience with a hands-on, artist-first approach, helping artists build sustainable careers and create opportunities across markets.

Having experienced the industry from almost every seat at the table, Mayan brings a 360-degree understanding of the relationships, opportunities and challenges that shape an artist’s journey.
