Maga Knaub (AR)

Maga Knaup is an Argentine DJ based in Madrid, shaped by a lifelong connection to techno and club culture. Long before stepping behind the decks, her first contact with electronic music came through pirated Love Parade CDs in the ’90s — a sound that stayed with her for years and became part of her identity.
Coming from a background in law, Maga spent years moving through a more structured and conventional world before finding in DJing a space that felt instinctive, physical and fully her own. In 2022, she finally stepped behind the decks, turning a long-standing connection with the dancefloor into an artistic path.
Her sound moves through groove-forward techno, hardgroove, acid tension and hypnotic textures, built with a strong sense of contrast and movement. Dark, percussive and immersive, her sets don’t stay in one fixed lane — they shift between mental pressure, driving rhythms and high-impact moments, always keeping groove at the core.
Her path started in Buenos Aires, where she became part of the city’s underground circuit through different events, club spaces and collectives.

Now based in Madrid, Maga is developing her project within the European scene. Since relocating, she has played at Sala Siroco, Inklub and underground events across the city, including Reverie and 95Club, and has also delivered a published set for BCCO.Beyond the booth, she hosted her own online radio show, Cosmic Tunes, on SideB Radio in Argentina and Proyecto Espuma Radio in Spain, extending her artistic voice through carefully built selections and a wider connection with electronic music culture.
With her first steps in production already underway, Maga continues to shape a sound that reflects where she comes from and where she is going: raw, groove-driven, hypnotic and deeply connected to the floor.
