Khun (NL)

Born in Nieuwer ter Aa, just outside Amsterdam, Khun grew up surrounded by music, inspired by his father’s passion for DJing and vinyl. Those early influences sparked a lasting connection with music, leading him to step behind the decks and start producing his own tracks at just 16. Since then, he has developed a distinctive sound rooted in minimal, stripped-back house, driven by a constant search for the perfect groove.

His sound combines crisp, driving drums, deep basslines and hypnotic rhythms, with every element carefully selected to create maximum impact through simplicity. Khun believes in the philosophy that less is more, allowing subtle details, rolling grooves and seamless transitions to shape the energy of his sets. Rather than relying on obvious peaks, he builds a natural flow that keeps the dance floor moving.

Over the years, Khun has established himself at renowned Amsterdam venues such as Thuishaven, Bret and Shelter. In 2024, he co-founded Naked Records, a label that reflects his musical vision and commitment to raw, groove-driven underground house. Through both his productions and DJ sets, Khun continues to explore the power of simplicity, proving that the right groove, delivered at the right moment, can speak louder than anything else.
