Karmel is an Amsterdam-based, US-born DJ and multidisciplinary artist with a truly eclectic sensibility. As the host of Sounds of Freedom on Echobox Radio, she curates wide-ranging selections that channel a spirit of liberation, blending everything from jazz and psychedelic Arabic to punk and beyond. Her sets are immersive journeys, weaving unexpected sonic threads into a cohesive and compelling experience. Outside the booth, Karmel’s artistic practice spans sound, installation, and public intervention. She is also the creative force behind Amsterdam based streetwear brand Baba Boys.
