KENTO (BE)
Kento is a Brussels-born techno artist who fell in love with techno at an early age. A musician across different genres since the age of six, he went through a 10-year conservatory education, learning saxophone, guitar, bass, drums and piano. This musical journey eventually led him to producing techno, the musical love of his life and in 2020, he started producing his very first tracks.
His unique mix of raw energy, eclectic style and ability to combine rave, bounce, groove, techno, tekno and psy define his sound. Combined with his impulsive technique, his need to connect with the crowd and his ability to walk the line between genres, Kento creates sets that tell a story from the heart. By combining 3–4 decks with non-stop mixing, he brings different elements together into a connecting, genuine musical experience and a true rave experience.
Shortly after starting to produce, Kento began releasing on ITHICA RECORDS, followed by several number-one Beatport hits across both the Hard Techno and Raw/Deep genres. In October 2021, he started his own label, OSKYRTH, through which he also hosts events.
Walking the line between hypnotic techno, rave, bounce, groove, techno, tekno and psy, and on occasion pounding brutal hard techno. His sets give the crowd a musical experience they won’t be likely to forget. From the first note, Kento aims to captivate the crowd, take them into the palm of his hand and guide them through his musical universe.
With a South America tour planned, Kento has already shared the stage with artists such as SPEEDY J, GARY BECK, GHOST IN THE MACHINE, PROTOKSEED, KOBOSIL, 999999999, FERNANDA MARTINS, ANGY KORE, CARI LEKEBUSCH, PFIRTER, STAN CHRIST, DION, JAN VERCAUTEREN, DYEN, WNDRLST, VEL, NIOTECH, SVETEC, ANTHONY ROTHER, BLICZ and VARYA KARPOVA.
His tracks are widely supported by artists such as CHARLOTTE DE WITTE, AMELIE LENS, PERC, NICO MORENO, KOBOSIL, AYAKO MORI and CASSIE RAPTOR.
