Former HITCO Senior Vice President of Marketing, Lynn M. Scott consistently authors and activatesimpactful campaigns for award-winning multiplatinum superstars. To date, Scott’s impressive career encompassesengineering key initiatives for everyone from Prince and Stevie Wonder to Beyoncé and JLO. “I operate from a really honest place,” she exclaims. “I try to understand my artist at the core andseamlessly translate the story they want to convey through appropriate conduits. I’ll have difficultconversations, when necessary, but I’ll also fight harder than anyone for each and every artist Irepresent.”

The New York native kicked off her career in management at Flavor Unit Entertainment, home toicons such as Queen Latifah and Naughty By Nature. Later, she co-founded her own firm 3-DEntertainment—which represented DJ Clark Kent, and JAY-Z’s debut, Reasonable Doubt. Additionally,she shepherded the crossover of NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal into a successful music career,guiding him during the era of the platinum Shaq Diesel and gold Shaq Fu: Da Return and introducinginnovative sneaker-and-album bundles, among many other trailblazing collaborations. After a stint atTranscontinental Entertainment, Scott went on to become Vice President, Marketing at UniversalMotown Records in 1999 where she proved integral to the powerhouse Marvin Gaye tribute MarvinIs 60, the first-ever Stevie Wonder box set, and neo-soul icons Erykah Badu and India.Arie.

2007 saw her join the team at Music World Entertainment where she handled marketing forBeyoncé’s groundbreaking, I Am… Sasha Fierce album and global tour. She returned to UniversalMusic Group in 2010 and went on to hold executive positions at the Republic Label Group andMotown. At the time, she shepherded releases ranging from The Voice, Nas & Damian Marley, andKelly Rowland to Kem. As Vice President of Marketing at Warner Bros. Records from 2015 until 2018,she proved integral to campaigns for Duran Duran and Prince. She notably supervised the 2017Deluxe and Deluxe Expanded re-issues of the latter’s Purple Rain, resulting in the epic’s return to theTop 10 on the Billboard Top 200 and widespread celebration 23 years since its initial arrival.

Joining HITCO in 2018 when it launched, she ignited the rise of new artists such as Yella Beezy, SaintJhn and Rubi Rose as well as working on projects for stars including Big Boi, The Dream, Jennifer Lopez& everyone’s favorite DJ, D-Nice.
