JP Lantieri is heading his label Flemcy Music with the motto: if music be the food of love, then Flemcy has the recipe. Flemcy Music serves love in the form of deep, tech and prog on a classy triangular plate. The main genres that Flemcy Music cherish are Melodic Techno, Deep House, Deep Techno, Techno House, Progressive House, Deep Progressive and pretty much anything in between, having already garnered support from Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Robert Babicz, Decoded Magazine, DJ Mag España, AFFKT, Cevin Fisher, Carl Cox, Armin van Buuren, Acumen, Sasha Carassi, Blond:ish, John 00 Fleming, Afrojack, Sam Divine, Christian Smith, Judge Jules, Markus Schulz, Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier, Ibiza Global Radio, Luigi Madonna, Digitally Imported Radio… After years evolving in the rich cultures of Asia, where his melodic techno DJ sets with some incursions towards tech/deep/progressive house got the appreciation of the clubbers, JP Lantieri relocated to the vibrant music scene of London where he is playing in many of the metropolis major clubs, including EGG and Ministry Of Sound, festivals like the lovely Transitions London, releasing track after track on labels like Egothermia, Black Hole / Magic Island Deep, Universal Music Emotion, Deep Motion, Right Recordings, Poolside, In You Records, Darkest Before Dawn, compiling his regular Enigma show broadcasted on selected radios in Europe and USA… and managing his label Flemcy Music. JP’s passion for music was ignited while still in his teens, when a dusty antique piano was delivered to his family’s home. That ultimately launched his life-long musical journey. Once grown, he relocated from France to Asia - lured by its rich culture and mysticism - where he furthered his appreciation of varied music styles and began to produce and remix his self-created wares. JP Lantieri has toured much of Asia, performing in a number of the region’s most prestigious venues. While in Asia, after having released two accalimed CDs Lounge and Tempo, JP and comrade DJ French Chris created a successful series of French Connection parties in Kuala Lumpur, where he commandeered the musical sets, also serving as co-creator, producer and mixer of the event. His signature sound ranged from Deep-House to Electro-House, with a focus on “Housey Melodic Techno.” A few years ago, he was awarded the Gold VIMA Award as Best Electro/Dance Act, adding to his collective of music awards for tracks Gemini, I Feel Love, Kids and Geisha. More recently, he has won an award at the huge Independent Music Awards for his coming EP London Calling. He later moved to London. “I have to say that London is a very energetic city, where I’ve met a lot of genuine and incredible talents. All this energy has multiplied my productivity, and has really accelerated my progression. That said, it’s a very competitive city, so you really have to step up your game if you want to have a chance to advance there.” He is inspired by a lot of artists, including Cristoph, Maceo Plex, Filterheadz, Melokolektiv, Skober, Enrico Sangiuliano, Christian Smith, Yotto, Moshic, Yotto, Stephan Bodzin, Eric Prydz, Eelke Kleijn among others. He is always looking for new talents to join the 30 artists who are already members of the growing Flemcy family.
