donnerstag broke through in September 2021 when he held two #1 spots on Beatport's Melodic Techno chart at once, with “The Day the Angels Cried” on Melodia Records and “Here With You” on Androgyne Audio. He has since built a catalog of five #1 EPs, more than 25 Beatport Top 10s and over 40 Top 100 placements, with releases on Borders of Light, Enormous Tunes and Lelantus and collaborations with Toto Chiavetta and Olivier Giacomotto. Classically trained, he also runs his own imprint, Descension Recordings, and his music has earned support from Stephan Bodzin, Maceo Plex and Fideles.
