Dirk Wiertz (NL)

Dirk Wiertz is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer working at the sharper, modern end of the electro spectrum. By day he works the counter at Concerto, one of Amsterdam's most storied record stores; by night he channels that deep record knowledge into a studio built around synths and drum machines, fusing classic electro roots with techno, house and experimental sound design.


His tracks favour deep, brutal basslines, precise rhythm programming and ecstatic, futuristic melodies — production built as much on feel as on technique. Alongside his studio work, Dirk shares monthly mixes under the E-L-E-C-T-R-O series, showcasing the records that shape his sound and keeping listeners current with the wider electro underground.
