David Rishty (US)

David Rishty began his career in the music industry as a journalist, contributing to publications including Billboard. During his time there, he launched the Billboard Dance 100 artist ranking and led brand partnerships with SiriusXM and Apple Music. He later founded Exchange Management, applying that same brand-building approach directly to artist development. Since its inception, the company’s roster has collectively generated over 700 million streams and performed at more than 400 shows worldwide.

For the past seven years, Rishty has brought that management mindset to Palm Tree Records, taking a holistic approach to artist development. Palm Tree’s roster remains intentionally select, with fewer than a dozen artists, yet has amassed more than 1.25 billion total streams to date.
