Cotumo (DE)

Originally from southwestern Germany, Johannes "Hannes" Bergheim moved to Berlin in 2003 and stepped behind the decks a year later under his solo moniker, Cotumo. In 2008, a chance meeting at a free open-air party in Berlin brought him together with Holger Kampling, with whom he founded the electronic duo AKA AKA in 2009.

The project has since played Germany's biggest festivals and events around the world, racked up more than 300 million streams, and remains his main focus today.

Through it all, he has kept nurturing his passion project, Cotumo.
Under this alias, he is a staple of Berlin's underground scene and a regular at the iconic Sisyphos club and at festivals like Nation of Gondwana, moving effortlessly between House, Indie Dance and Dark Disco.

Since quitting alcohol in November 2025, his life has turned upside down in the best possible way. Across his channels, he speaks candidly about navigating an alcohol-obsessed culture and the path to sobriety.

He is also releasing a self-help guide to quitting drinking and working on his memoirs.
