Bobbie Morel (NL)

Bobbie Morel started as a classical ballet dancer (‘The National Ballet’ Academy), until he fell in love with vinyl! His first records where from Tjaikovski and Debussy and off he went. This bio does not include the numerous club nights, after parties, and showdowns to become a DJ in almost 20 years time. Being one of the initiators, the music programmer and founder of ADE 2016 official party at Blijburg “HATSEKLATS”, also Artist Manager of Hats & Klaps. Some (House) Music concepts on his name as Founder and/or Co-Founder. Some exapmles are: “Het Stoute Sprookjesbal” (nominated by “Gouden Kabouter”), Bollywood festival in Amsterdam and many residence DJ spots like Westergasterras, Alpha69 productions (residence DJ for over 10 years, doing gigs for top brands KPN, NOKIA, Bol.com, Ziggo, and prestige concerts for Justin Timberlake, Moke, Anouk & Pussycat Dolls). Also playing NOVU festival, Ankleideraum, and in the past Dutch biggest festival LowLands. His personal taste and influences come from all sorts of music and beyond (classical is the base). He plays House Music (lounge, deephouse, techhouse, techno) and is always in the lookout for new genres and elements to bring in place. His sound is described as house, combining many genres. Goal for ADE 2016 is to showcase ADE’s finest producers/promotors with theirs and friends (un) released tracks on the “Blijburg” location with Art (Ballet) & Visuals (Motion Graphic Design) to find a place in the world to get gigs for the artists we present and to hopefully get the change on getting booked for a great venue somewhere in this lovely place on earth.
