Going Out Matters: The Value of Real-Life Connections - together with Heineken

Speakers: Lucas & Steve and Brankele Frank

Neurobiologist and author Brankele Frank will open the session sharing insights into the science behind human connection, social interaction and the impact of technology on behavior. The ensuing discussion with artists Lucas & Steve will look at a range of related topics including the value of real-life experiences, screens versus presence and connection, as well as the societal value of nightlife.

The speakers will be discussing whether nightlife is perhaps something much bigger than entertainment, how festivals and nightlife contribute to joy, wellbeing and a sense of belonging, and how clubs, festivals and music venues create communities.Ultimately the session is about championing something that feels increasingly precious and valuable in modern society: genuine human connection.
