Through this interactive workshop, organisers, artists, policymakers and other industry professionals will learn more about developing circular solutions, based on the findings of 44 leading festivals from 14 countries.
About this program
The Green Deal Circular Festivals unites 44 leading festivals from 14 countries, aiming for circularity and climate neutrality by 2025. The past years, this group has developed a model of a circular and climate neutral festival - a future-proof perspective for the entire sector. To determine where you stand on your way towards this model, also a monitoring system has been developed. This facilitates informed decisions, and can form the basis of event organization’s circular roadmaps.
Conversations about circularity within your own organisation(s), with suppliers, other stakeholders and visitors can lead to progress in the near future. We will show you how this model can be a conversation starter and we invite you to give feedback and share your ideas on this model. This workshop will answer the following questions:
- What is a circular and climate neutral festival?
- What are the biggest challenges and how can you overcome them?
- What steps can your organization take towards circularity and climate neutrality?
