Everything Modular with Modular Moon

This session is a three hour focus on modular sound synthesis. We will have the unique opportunity to dive into the eurorack world with the author of an educational method, presented world-wide as Modular Moon | Modular Synthesis School. In over 5 years, the Amsterdam-based school gained international fame, and became known for their effective curriculum method, published in book-form as Modular Sound Synthesis On the Moon. Through this method, beginners have the opportunity to get insight into the secrets of modular, and understanding of synthesis stations outside the eurorack format. During the session we’ll go through an introduction of the project, physics of sound, basic building blocks, synthesis methods, simple to complex patching, multilayering and live performance mode - and there will be systems to try on the spot.

Please note: This session is designed as a hands-on workshop with limited capacity to enhance creativity and collaboration. On the day of the event, you'll find the session sign-up forms readily available at the registration desk near the entrance of de Brakke Grond on a first come first served basis.

ADE Lab returns with a four-day programme from ADE Wednesday to Saturday at the Brakke grond and many more venues around the Amsterdam Nes area.

We do not sell ADE Conference only or Day Passes. The only way to get access to the ADE Pro Conference is the ADE Pro Pass.

Our conferences are accessible for all ages in general. Do note that when alcoholic beverages are served, access can be denied.
