Doka Live Electronic Sessions
Descend down to our basement for an evening of sonic and visual exploration. During ADE Doka transforms itself into a playground where three live electronic musicians come together and create tangible interpretation of the sounds living inside their minds.
Marijn S and the Machinedrum: Imagine taking the simplest noises and reshaping them into something entirely alien, blended together in a surprisingly natural way, as if they're engaged in a cosmic dance. As they meld and merge, they're moving towards an uncharted realm, where the limits of sound are stretched to their extreme.
Papi Gaba's Test- and Measurement Ensemble: Papi Gaba conducts his ensemble of test- and measurement equipment. These devices, made for scientific purposes in the 50's and 60's, were the source of the first electronic music. He will explore the sonic possibilities within the tight limits of his ensemble, consisting of various oscillators, frequency generators, sweep generators and pulse generators.
Julien Chaptal’s micro world: Audio visual experiments that see the interaction between microbes viewed through the lens of a microscope and the sounds produced by a modular system. An electronic, microcosmic improvisation in F#minor.

Doka is the home base for immersive – sonic –experiences. The underground and intimate sound bar is the place where nightlife, music and other forms of culture blend together.

Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resend to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.

Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When ADE Pro Pass capacity has been reached, an one-in-one-out rule applies.
