Rooted in Culture

The culture is essential in the House and Club landscape. It’s rooted in black culture, queerness, underground spaces, and liberated bodies. During Rooted in Culture we liberate through movement, education, and culture. Together with the dutch Housedance community and Lynnee Denise, we focus on getting food for thought and soul.

Get inspiration from 2 Housedancers who have their roots in the dutch club culture Dro & Zev. While Lynnee Denise will guide you through the history of House and Disco music with sound and video samples. After the talk with Lynnee Denise we bring the heat to the dancefloor with the DJ collectives: Chill on Tuesday and House the Vibe.
