Jameszoo's Blind Group with Special Guest Dorian Concept + Support Kotokid
Band based around DJ/producer Jameszoo and his Brainfeeder album Blind. Support act: Kotokid.
Especially for Amsterdam Dance Event, Jameszoo brings his album Blind to life with a band featuring keyboard wizard Niels Broos, saxophonist Otis Sandsjö and drummer Jamie Peet. The support act is the new project of bass guitarist/producer Freek Mulder; Kotokid.
Mitchel van Dinther AKA Jameszoo made his international breakthrough with productions he describes as ‘naïve computer jazz on the edge of precision and insanity’. He released three albums on Brainfeeder, the Los Angeles-based label founded by Flying Lotus. With Blind, Jameszoo questions the notion of the solo artist by letting remote collaborators reshape his work. The album features contributions by a wide range of experimentalists, including Evan Parker, Kit Downes, and Dorian Concept. Blind received rave reviews in, among others, NRC and The Wire. For this concert Jameszoo's Blind Group will be joined by saxophonist Otis Sandsjö and special guest Dorian Concept on synthesizers.
Festival FAQ
Yes, all official ADE Festival events listed on the ADE website are accessible with your ADE Pro Pass (limited capacity at venues). When capacity has been reached, a one in one out rule applies.
A very limited number of events, including the Nils Frahm seated concert at Concertgebouw and the Eric Prydz HOLO show have had an RSVP list for Pro Pass holders. Only the RSVP grants entry to the shows.
For (individual) festival tickets make sure to check out our program and simply add tickets to your basket as you explore all events.
Tip: Filter the program by "Show only events with available tickets" to get a quick view.
Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+), these are Dutch governmental rules which say that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club. Please double-check the promotors website to be sure you can enter the event.
We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
Please keep in mind: we love being your annual host, therefore, we would like to ask you to enjoy responsibly.
