COMPLEX is about to bring ADE to the Bijlmer and the Bijlmer to ADE, whilst celebrating Black Achievement Month. A great occasion to celebrate black music and the artists that produce and play the records.

COMPLEX locks arms with Heesterveld Creative Community & CBK Zuidoost and showcases its take on the dopest underground afro-centric electronic music that’s currently out there. Expect DJs playing jazz-funk, breaks, soulful house, ghetto-house, tribal and vogue beats and a pinch of techno.

Our first COMPLEX event presents a carefully curated lineup, headed by the true Detroit underground legend and one of the most technically gifted DJs out there: DJ Bone. Joining Bone are two of the most promising and cutting-edge artists that are now making big waves in the international scene: Nathan Kofi and Nedda Sou. Warm-up duties are done by OISHĪ - known for her edgy and eclectic style who’s also rooted in the queer/ballroom scene, and Amsterdam’s freshest duo FAUX, who have never failed to funk up a party.

Our second room is hosted by up-and-coming artist ARRA and Lola Edo bringing a sweet mix of amapiano, afro, acid house, electro, uk garage and more.

ABOUT COMPLEX

COMPLEX is a new promoter in Zuidoost, currently looking for a location to start a cafe, creative hub and community. COMPLEX will focus its efforts on talent development, equal opportunity and social cohesion in the Bijlmer by organising events with impact and creative workshops for under-represented youth.

ABOUT HEESTERVELD CC

Heesterveld Creative Community Foundation was established to stimulate and facilitate creativity, collaboration and cultural entrepreneurship in the Heesterveld neighbourhood in Amsterdam Bijlmer. Consisting of a group of creative residents from all kinds of disciplines, the incubator focuses on making a contribution to the living environment in the neighbourhood and the city, based on everyone's own artistic strength.
